My own path into fitness was through running. I had a natural talent that was picked up by my school sports teacher. Through her nurturing guidance and interest in my development, I went on to compete for Great Britain on the athletics track, road and over cross-country.

I’ve competed in 17 marathons to date, most recently in the 2025 Valencia Marathon with a time of 2:37:03. My personal best was second female in the Florence Marathon with a time of 2:35:23.

I’m currently ranked 1st in the UK, and in the World top 10 in my age group for the marathon.

Running has not only brought me physical fitness but has been hugely important for my mental health too – those endorphins work wonders!

Since having children and getting back to running, I have discovered a passion for helping others achieve their goals, whether that be to run a Marathon PB or to gain strength and muscle tone.

I love motivating clients and gently pushing them out of their comfort zone, so that they can overcome challenges and be the best they can be. As an elite runner, I have worked with running coaches, sport psychologists, physios and strength and conditioning experts, who have taught me things that I implement in my own personal training today.

I believe that exercise and fitness create balance in your life and can help sustain you through the inevitable ups and downs life throws at us.  

It can be hard to stay motivated when there are so many reasons not to exercise – work, the weather, kids, being tired, no clean socks – but I will make fitness part of your week and something you look forward to.
